Ananda Krishnan to take Measat private

Billionaire T Ananda Krishnan is taking satellite service provider Measat Global Bhd private in a buyout amounting to more than RM660 million while shares of Tanjong Plc remain suspended. Measat Global Network Systems Sdn Bhd, a vehicle controlled by Ananda, is offering RM4.20 for each share it doesn't already own and will proceed to delist Measat once the exercise is completed, according to a statement issued yesterday.
