11.03.2010, Thursday

In early March 2010, in a statement from BP and the chief executive of its African unit BP Africa, Sipho Maseko, the international oil and gas firm said it planned to sell off marketing assets in Botswana, Malawi, Namibia, Tanzania and Zambia, and focus instead on Algeria, Angola, Egypt, Libya, Mozambique and South Africa.
