AMMB net profit up 13% for last 9 mths of ‘09

AMMB Holdings Bhd posted a 12.6% growth in net profit for nine months ended Dec 31, 2009 to RM766.87 million from RM681 million in the same period in 2008, boosted by higher revenue and loans growth. Revenue for the three quarters rose 10.9% to RM4.91 billion from RM4.42 billion in the previous year.
